Description
Supervise and coordinate and direct maintenance personnel and activities. Works in conjunction with Maintenance Manager and Production Manager in the direction of maintenance personnel. Carry out directions from the Maintenance Manager. Communicate and coordinate maintenance activities with the Production Manager. Assist in determining work priorities, planning, scheduling, assigning and reviewing work. Provides guidance and instructions to other mechanics in their daily activities and has lead responsibility for special projects. Trouble shoot production line equipment issues with other Mechanics when called. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports documenting the activities and work performed by the maintenance department. Including all equipment repairs from breakdowns, work orders or PMs. Assist in maintaining the Maintenance Office, departmental records and CMMS (JDE EAM). Work on Project List assigned by Maintenance Manager. Supervise and direct service contractors in the plant. Provides break or vacation relief for other mechanics in their absence. Performs all work in accordance with established GMP and safety procedures. Report any food safety issues to supervision immediately. Responsible for overseeing Down Day activities and Plant lockdown for the weekend. Wear company pager for emergency call outs over the weekend.
Position Requirements
Associates degree from college or technical school or 5 years of relevant work experience. Able to follow blueprints and other technical instructions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only a limited standardization exist. Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and schedule form. Able to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Working knowledge of electronic and electrical concepts and operating safety. Demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools commonly used in electrical, electronic, and mechanical trades. Supervise, coordinate and direct maintenance personnel and activities. Works in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager and the Production Manager in the direction of maintenance personnel.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
